The Kind Doctor
During a high school field hockey game, our daughter, Jolene, broke her jaw. While leaning forward to save the puck from going into the goal, her opponent's stick caught Jolene's jaw and cut her ear. We were in Waynesboro, which meant we were close enough to go to Chambersburg Hospital. When we arrived, the ER physician stitched her ear while we waited for Dr. Himelfarb. When Dr. Himalfarb arrived, his demeanor was extremely helpful in keeping Jolene calm. (Thank you Dr. Himelfarb!) As a parent, I will always be greatful for Dr. Himelfarb's kind, caring treatment of Jolene!
