Dear Steve, Greg and Family,
I'm very sorry to hear of Doris' passing. Steve, As I was your classmate, your mother and my father Allen Smetzer were also classmates. Sadly, my father also passed recently. I've had the privilege of talking with your mother at their class reunion dinner at Parlor House Restaurant in Waynesboro a few years ago as she was there with Teresa. Doris was a lovely lady and we enjoyed talking about her life. Just recently I drove past your family home and wondered how she was doing. Please know that our prayers are with all of you during this sad time. May your memories bring you joy, and may your hope in an eternal reunion through Jesus Christ being you peace and comfort.

Steve and Greg and your families: Sorry for your loss. I have pleasant memories of your Mom dating back to weekends on the banks of the Raystown river. Also, remember many nights our parents played cards at both your house and ours. The recollections make me smile and I hope the memories warm your hearts.
Your friend,
