Obituary for Margaret Mary Novak (Michaeli)

Fayetteville- Margaret Mary Novak, 92, passed away Thursday morning June 28, 2018, at Quincy Village where she had resided since May.
She was born in Scranton, PA. December 17th, 1925 to Joseph and Margaret Mary ( Mahaedy) Michaeli. She graduated from Scranton High School. She was preceded in death by her first husband William F. Moran who passed away in July 1984. She then married Stanley Novak, who passed away in November 2013. She is also preceded in death by three siblings, Shirley Brotsel, Samuel Michaeli and Ruth Finkley.
In her early years she was a buyer for the Globe Department Store in Scranton. She was a homemaker most of her life. Family time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren brought her great joy. She enjoyed swimming, dancing, cooking for the family and travelling.
She is survived by two sons, Mark (Connie) Moran, and Timothy (Barbara) Moran both of Chambersburg, and two stepdaughters Nancy Martofel, Vancouver WA and Susan King, Portland, Oregon. She has six grandchildren, Tyler (Tera) Moran, Kristen (Jaret) Akers, Brittney Moran, Connor Moran, Jennifer Boswell and Michael Boswell. She also has eight great grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Tuesday July 3, 2018 at 10AM at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Corpus Christi Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday July 2, 2018 from 5- 7 PM at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home 333 Falling Spring Rd. Chambersburg, PA. Memorial donations in her honor can be made to Corpus Christi Catholic Church 320 Philadelphia Avenue Chambersburg, PA 17201.
