Obituary for William E. Pittman Sr.
William E. “Bill” Pittman, Sr., 67, of Chambersburg, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 in the Chambersburg Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on February 21, 1953 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Ruth Hykes Adams. Bill attended Chambersburg schools and worked as a machinist for NAPA Auto Parts. Some of his favorite pastimes were hunting and watching NASCAR racing.
He is survived by his son, William “Billy” Pittman Jr. of Pleasant Hall; lifelong companion, Brenda Jones of Chambersburg; stepsons, Brandon (Brandy) Jones of Fayetteville and Brooks (Jessica) Jones of Concord; one brother, Gerald (Nancy) Pittman; one sister, Edna (Lloyd) Williams; sister-in-law, Pat Appleby; and three grandchildren, Austin, Jaleigh, and Brantley. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Tom and Merle.
