Obituary for Vincent J. Hawkins Sr.
Vincent J. Hawkins, Sr. 66, Chambersburg, PA passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021 in the Chambersburg Hospital. Born December 2, 1954 in Lake Alfred, Florida he was the son of Emma Jean (Hawkins) Guerrero, Chambersburg, PA.
He was a graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School with the Class of 1973. Vincent was employed as a product supervisor for 23 years at PET, Inc. and as a shipping and receiving supervisor for 18 years at Snack Works. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, grilling, gardening, cooking and shooting pool.
In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife Yuniarsih (Darsitha) Hawkins who he married August 28, 2008; his three children, Stephanie Elder of Florida, Vance Hawkins and his wife Kim of Greenvillage, PA and Vincent Hawkins, Jr. and his wife Danielle of Chambersburg; a step-daughter Yudith Purie Andita (Murrad) of Jakarta, Indonesia; eleven grandchildren; three siblings, Sharon Hawkins (Lynn), Jerald “Yogi” Hawkins (Dawn), and Anita Foreman (Angelo) all of Chambersburg and a number of nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by two brothers Reginald L. Hawkins and Radarryl Dion Hawkins.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Friday, May 14, 2021 in the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202.
