Obituary for Timothy D. Park Sr.
Timothy D. Park, Sr., 63, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022 in the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA. Born August 15, 1959 in McConnellsburg, PA he was the son of the late Clair I. and Barbara A. (Poper) Park.
He was a graduate of Forbes Road High School with the Class of 1977. He then went on to obtain his associates degree in electronics from Thaddeus Stevens State School of Technology in 1979. In 1987 he graduated from Capital College with his bachelors degree in electrical engineering.
Tim was employed for Mac Trucks until 1989 after working for TB Woods years. He then went back to work at TB Woods in 1990 as an electrical engineer. Tim was currently employed for Danfoss who bought out TB Woods. He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Fayetteville where he served as chairman of the trustee board as well as head lawn mower.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Barbara (Hunter) Park who he married December 30, 1989; a son, Timothy D. Park, Jr.,; a brother, Charlie Miller and his wife Carol of Chambersburg; two uncles, Sam Park and Foster Park both of Fulton County; and a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, October 1, 2022 in the Calvary United Methodist Church, 150 Norlo Drive, Fayetteville, PA 17222 with Rev. Robin Baer officiating. There will be a time of fellowship and time to visit with the family following the service in the church. Arrangements are by the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg.
