Obituary for Susan M. Frirsz
Susan McMichael Frirsz, 71, of Chambersburg, PA passed peacefully into her next life on June 11, 2022 surrounded by her family. Susan was born in and raised in Kane, PA and held degrees in cosmetology and cooking.
She is survived by her daughter Chelsea and husband Chris Hillerich of Saratoga Springs, New York, her sister Karen DeShong and husband Max Mixell of Chambersburg, and her brother James McMichael and wife Victoria of Fairfax, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents Jack and Grace McMichael, brother William, sister Kathleen, and twin sons Marcus and Nathan.
Susan’s warm and compassionate spirit was a great gift which she shared generously with those around her. Susan adored animals and enjoyed volunteering at the local animal shelter. She also served as a hospice volunteer.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 2, 2022 in the Chapel of the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home Saturday morning.
