Obituary for Sharon E. Henry (Hockenberry)
Sharon E. (Hockenberry) Henry, 66, of Chambersburg, passed away on Friday, April 9, 2021 at Quincy Village. Born January 28, 1955 in Hanover, PA, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Mary (Watson) Hockenberry, and widow to the late Harold G. Henry, Jr., who preceded her in death in 2008.
A 1973 graduate of Fannett Metal High School, Sharon went on to get her nursing degree and worked as an LPN for a number of years. She enjoyed crafts, reading, crossword puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, David Henry (Regina) of Chambersburg; and two grandchildren, Nicholas and Alexandria. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Christina and Sandra.
A memorial service will be held in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at 6:30 PM, where Rev. Murray B. Stevens will officiate.
