Obituary for SFC Clifford L Tanner II
SFC Clifford L. Tanner II (Retired), 62, of Chambersburg, passed away on Friday, April 29, 2022 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born September 2, 1959 in Tucson, AZ, he was the son of the late Clifford L. and LaVita Ward Tanner.
A US Army veteran, Clifford served honorably for 23 years until his retirement at the rank of Sergeant First Class. Following his military service, he was employed as at Manitowoc. He enjoyed going to Jeep shows, collecting guns and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Faith L. Fahnestock Tanner, whom he married on May 16, 2000; one son, Dennis Fahnestock of Chambersburg; two siblings, Merilee Tanner and Leslee Maust (husband Marty), both of Tucson, AZ; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Cneter, Chambersburg, PA.
