Obituary for Robert K. Wright Sr.
Robert K. “Bobby” Wright, Sr., 51, of Chambersburg, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022 at his home. Born May 1, 1971 in Chambersburg, he was a son of Sharon Zeigler Helmuth and the late Robert Grover Wright.
Bobby was most recently employed at Wright’s Trade Station. He was also previously employed at Frederick Ceilings, Central Service, Kriner’s Racing Engines and had his own mechanic shop called Wright’s Automotive. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, racing, working on motors, going to flea markets, fishing and camping.
In addition to his mother, Bobby was survived by his step-father, Rodney Helmuth of Greencastle; two sons, Robert “Keith” Wright, Jr. of San Jose, CA, and Cody Wright of Fayetteville; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 8, 2022 in the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Rev. Carl McKee will officiate. Interment will follow the service at Air Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
