Obituary for Ralph D. Stotler

Ralph Daniel “Dan” Stotler, 78, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at his home. Born March 12, 1943 in Greencastle, he was a son of the late Harry Victor and Kathryn Barnhart Stotler. Dan was a 1961 graduate of the Greencastle Antrim High School and was employed as a meat cutter with Giant Foods until retiring in 2003. Following his retirement from Giant he was employed for five years in the maintenance department at Wilson College. He attended Christian Life Church and was an active volunteer with Royal Family Kids Camp #204. He enjoyed working with his hands and liked anything with 2 wheels. An avid outdoorsman he enjoyed water sports and camping.

He is survived by his wife, June Ellen Ramer Stotler, whom he married January 15, 1966; three children, Danette Nolt and husband Dale of Chambersburg, Chris Stotler and wife Teresa of Chambersburg, and Shelly Moats and husband Jason of Fayetteville; three grandchildren, Tia Nolt, Kristiana Stotler, and Ella Moats; two sisters, Mary Lou Kendle and husband Larry of Mercersburg and Lois Covel and husband Bob of Kouts, IN; and his brother, Larry Stotler and wife Donna of Mercersburg.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, June 16, 2021 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Chaplain Adam Leeper will officiate. Interment will follow at Parklawns Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00PM Tuesday and from 9:00-10:00AM Wednesday at the funeral home.
