Bill Askew

Phil is a very special soul. His heart was as soft as cotton even though he was as strong and determined as any man. His laugh will ring in my memory always. He is smiling at us now as he is in God’s hands and I feel sure he is playing 18 in the greatest golf course in the Universe. HIs love of Ellen and his kids is unending. He just could not stop talking about them, even in the middle of a putt that would win a match. I hope to get another chance to win back my losses. Love ya and will never forget you.

Phil was my friend and fellow DESCOM co-worker for many years. We shared a lot of laughs. But, he was also very pragmatic about life and the circumstances. With him, you always got "ground truth" with no sugar coating.. We will miss him. My deepest condolences to his family.
