Obituary for Patsy V. Abbamonte (Vaught)
Patsy V. Abbamonte, 65, of Fayetteville, PA and formerly of Auburndale, FL, passed away on January 6, 2023 at her home. Born August 15, 1957 in Lakeland, FL, she was a daughter of Elizabeth Bembry Vaught and the late Chester Grant Vaught.
Patsy was a graduate of Auburndale High School in Florida. She was employed as a project manager with the Bechtel Corporation building cell sites until her retirement due to her battle with pancreatic cancer. Patsy enjoyed crafting, reading and riding her electric bike. She loved her cats which maxed out at eight.
In addition to her mother, Patsy is survived by her husband, Robert Abbamonte, whom she married on July 1, 2011; one son, Chad Lundy of Lakeland, FL; six grandchildren; and three siblings, Glenn Vaught of Frostproof, FL, Gary Vaught of Winter Haven, FL, and Laura Vaught (Laurelynn Martin) of Webster, MA.
Services and interment will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
