Nellie M. Hawbaker, 85, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Wednesday morning, March 24, 2021 at Brookview Health Center in Chambersburg. Born November 19, 1935 in Williamson, she was the daughter of the late Lawson W. and Jane Hunsberger Leasure. She was a graduate of the former St. Thomas High School. A homemaker most of her life, Mrs. Hawbaker was a member of Antrim Brethren In Christ Church and her hobbies included puzzle and Word Searches. Her beloved husband of 65 years, Melvin D. Hawbaker, preceded her in death on November 19, 2020.

She is survived by her son, Melvin D. Hawbaker, Jr. of Chambersburg. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Melvin C., John J., and Donald L. Leasure.

A graveside service will be held at St. Thomas Cemetery on Monday, March 29, 20201 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Casey Hurst will officiate.
