Nancy E. King, 80, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Monday, April 24, 2023 at Hershey Medical Center with her family at her side. Born June 11, 1942 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Eugene and Elizabeth Ruth Cool Wise. Nancy was a 1960 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School and was employed for 37 years at Knouse Foods, retiring as a supervisor in June of 2007. She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and the Chambersburg Council for the Arts. She loved animals and enjoyed spending time painting and working with crafts including crocheting, beading, and gardening. She also enjoyed the many art and ceramic classes she attended. Her husband, Paul F. King, whom she married on Valentine’s Day in 2002, preceded her in death on August 15, 2007.

She is survived by four children, David W. Harris and wife Linda of Chambersburg, Blaine M. Harris of Chambersburg, Christine E. Wenger and husband Darious of Fayetteville, and Sharon K. Alexander and husband Keith of Chambersburg; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and her sister, Margaret Rollins of Chambersburg.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Fr. Matthew Smith at 10:00 AM Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 320 Philadelphia Avenue, Chambersburg, PA. Interment will follow in Lincoln Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Monday, May 1, 2023 at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA.
