Obituary for Mary Jane Chitty (Kegerize)
Mary Jane Chitty, 94, of Chambersburg, PA passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022 in Brookview Menno Haven. Born August 6, 1927 in Reading, PA she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Daisie (Hettinger) Kegerize.
She was employed as a librarian at Kings College, Briarcliff Manor, NY. Mary Jane was a member of Greenwood Hills Gospel Chapel.
She is survived by four children, Linda Mullin of Nashville, TN, Barbara Burgess of Mystic, CT, James Chitty of Gales Ferry, CT and John Chitty wife Lisa of Jupiter, FL and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Chitty who passed away March 11, 2003; and three sisters, Ruth Edwards, Grace Kegerize and Naomi Hartman.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg.
