Obituary for Marie Rita Cole (Ambrosecchia)
Marie R. Cole, 78, of Waynesboro, PA, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at her home. Born December 16, 1943 in Bronx, NY, she was a daughter of the late Christopher and Phyllis Gandiello Ambrosecchia.
A dedicated mother and grandmother, Marie spent most of her life making a home for her family. Early in her life she was employed at Citi Bank in New York. She had a strong Christian faith which was reflected daily in her life. Marie loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by three children, Jacqueline Bilodeau-Lambert and husband Christopher of State College, Jeffrey Adam Bilodeau and wife Janet of Queens, NY, and Kristofer D. Cole and wife Nairove Rosales of Chambersburg; three grandchildren, Kiara, Alejandra and Tiago; and a sister, Theresa Quaranta of Bronx, NY. Aside from her parents, Marie was preceded in death by two siblings Phyllis Arthur and John Ambrosecchia; and her second husband David Cole.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, April 30, 2022 in the chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
