Obituary

Madison Jett, 76 of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at the Chambersburg Hospital. Born October 15, 1944 in Pine Bluff, AR, he was the son of the late Ed Jett and Maybelle Anderson.

Always a hard worker, Madison was employed at Pet-Ritz in Chambersburg for 24 years, then as a skilled laborer at Martins Famous Pastry Shoppe in Chambersburg for 10 years, before retiring in 2010. He was a member of the Elk’s Club #600 and at one time had held the title of Exalted Ruler. During the 1980’s and 1990’s he was the owner / operator / instructor at Jett’s Korean Karate School in Fayetteville, PA. He continued his discipline of staying fit as he aged, and could often be found exercising and working out at the gym. He also enjoyed being outdoors, and loved fishing and gardening.

He is survived by his partner, Hester Thomas; sons, Michael Jett of Orlando, FL and Eric Jett of Phoenix, AZ; and his beloved granddaughters, Harper Madison Jett, 6, and Cheyenne Patricia Jett, 4, both of whom were his entire world; and four siblings, all still residing in Pine Bluff, AR. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings.

Per Madison’s request, there will be no services. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home & Cremation Center, Chambersburg
