Obituary for Lurline Samuels-Murray
Lurline Samuels-Murray, 64, of Fayetteville, PA passed away, Sunday, September 18, 2022 in the Chambersburg Hospital. Born July 31, 1958 in Jamaica she was the daughter of the late Johida Samuels and Inez Clarke.
She was employed in housekeeping at the Cornwell Regional Hospital, Jamaica for a number of years. Lurline enjoyed cooking, baking, taking care of her home and most of all spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Bethel Assembly of God, Chambersburg.
She is survived by her husband of nearly 40 years, Raphael Murray; two children, Careen Hines of Fayetteville, PA and Keen Hines and his wife Gina of Middletown, PA; four grandchildren, Shanelle Burrowes, Kasai Hines, Kashan Hines, and Asiah Williams; two siblings, Pearl Clark and Cargil Samuels both of Jamaica and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition her parents she is preceded in death by a sister, Lucille Brown.
Services will be held 1:00 PM, Tuesday, September 27, 2022 in Bethel Assembly of God Church, 400 Miller Street, Chambersburg, PA 17201 with Pastor Garry Kipe officiating. Burial will follow in Salem Cemetery, Chambersburg, PA.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church Tuesday afternoon.
