Obituary for Leonard R Bricker
Leonard R. Bricker, 63 of Chambersburg, passed away at his home on Monday morning, May 8, 2023. Born November 22, 1959 in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late Harry and Dorothy Rice Bricker.
A 1977 graduate of Parkville Christian Academy, Leonard has spent the past 47 years as a logger in his family business, Bricker Lumber Co. in Chambersburg. In his free time, he could be found in the woods hunting. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and traveling with his wife.
Leonard is survived by his wife of 41 years, Glenda (Burcker) Bricker, whom he married on July 25, 1981; son, Travis Bricker, of Chambersburg; siblings Bernice DeStefano (husband David) of Lewistown, PA, Margaret Bennett (husband Barry) of Rebersburg, PA, and Roger Bricker (wife Carolyn) of Chambersburg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Jeanette Lehman and Delores Beltz.
A visitation for Leonard will be held on Friday evening, May 12, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cumberland Valley Animal Shelter, 5051 Letterkenny Road, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
