Kevin L. Smith, 50, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away Monday morning, October 28, 2019 as a result of injuries sustained in an accident in Quincy Township. Born July 2, 1969 in Allentown, PA, he was a son of Viola Heffellfinger Smith and the late Lee Smith. Kevin served honorably with the US Army during which time he was deployed in Iraq from 2005-2006. He was currently employed with TE Connectivity in Waynesboro. He was a member of the Greencastle American Legion and the American Heroes Motorcycle Association. He enjoyed motorcycle benefit rides, shooting, bowling, and working on his Bronco.

Kevin is survived by his wife, Tina M. Johnston Smith, whom he married August 3, 1996; his son, Brandon L. Smith; his daughter Kelly S. Smith; his brother Jeffrey and wife Sharon; and three sisters, Cynthia, Gail, and Rebecca. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and his dogs, Lola and Deisel. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Smith.

A service to celebrate Kevin’s life will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, November 4, 2019 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. Pastor Reuben Egolf will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM Monday at the funeral home. Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions in Kevin's memory be made to a benefit ride of the donor's choice.
