Obituary for Joyce A. Shreiner (Creamer)
Joyce A. Shreiner, 86, of Chambersburg, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020 at her home. Born December 25, 1933 in Shippensburg, she was a daughter of the late Percy M. and Chole E. McCaleb Creamer. Her beloved husband, Eugene P. “Ben” Shreiner, preceded her in death on November 2, 2003.
Joyce spent most of her life making a home for her family. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Chambersburg.
She is survived by five children, Michael E. Shreiner (Danielle) of Harrisburg, PA, and Debra L. Huston of Chambersburg, Virginia S. Shreiner of Mercersburg, Andrew C. Shreiner of Chambersburg, and Thomas G. Shreiner (Regina) of Chambersburg; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Morgan, Andrew, McKensie, Ashton, Alexis and Nathan; and three great grandchildren, Taylor, Chase, and Branntli. In addition to her husband and parents, Joyce was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kelly Huston; sister, Virginia Horn; brother, Joseph Creamer; and niece Jo Louise Singer.
Services will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Trinity Lutheran Church, 431 Philadelphia Avenue, Chambersburg, PA 17201.
