Obituary for Jeffrey P. Baker
Jeffrey P. Baker, 61, of Houston, PA, and formerly of Chambersburg, passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at South Hills Wellness and Rehabilitation Center in Canonsburg, PA. Born August 30, 1961 in Chambersburg, he was the son of the late Rev. Paul B. and June Mull Baker.
Jeff was a graduate of CASHS where he played in the high school band and had the opportunity of playing at the Rose Bowl. Early in his life he was employed in the safety department at T.B. Woods. He was later the owner/operator of a company that installed safety devices for airport security all over the country. Jeff was a life member of the Fayetteville Volunteer Fire Department. He enjoyed reading about history and fishing. He was treated like family by the staff and members of the Houston Independent Club in Houston, PA and considered many of them his family as well. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at Norland Cemetery. Rev. Ronald Cook will officiate. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Fayetteville Volunteer Fire Department at 101 W. Main Street, Fayetteville, PA 17222.
