Obituary for Jean A. Klein (Agnew)
Jean A. Klein, 87, of Chambersburg, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2020 at Luther Ridge Retirement Community. Born September 1, 1932 in Pittsburgh, PA, she was the daughter of the late Norman F. and Mary M. Mizer Agnew. Her beloved husband, Robert E. Klein, preceded her in death on February 16, 2009.
Jean earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Westminster College in 1954 and her Masters of Social Work degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1956. She was employed as a social worker her entire career until her retirement. She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Chambersburg and a resident of Luther Ridge.
She is survived by two sons, William Alan Klein of Camden, NJ and James Richard Klein of Philipsburg, PA.
In accordance with her wishes, there will be no services. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
