Obituary for Harriet S. Nicholson (Grove)
Harriet S. Nicholson of Greencastle and formerly of Fayetteville, passed away on Friday, July 23, 2021 at her home. Born in Connemaugh, Somerset County, PA, she was the daughter of the late Jerry and Olga Brandt Grove. She was raised by her aunt and uncle, the late Lucille and Garnet Dayton of Scotland, PA. Harriet was a graduate of CASHS. She was employed at Gibbles Potato Chip Factory until her retirement. Following her retirement she was employed at the Fayetteville Antique Mall.
She is survived by three children, Jennifer Cook (Pat) of Hudson, FL, Jeffrey Nicholson of Greencastle, and Jerome Nicholson of Chambersburg; and one grandson, Robert Hockenberry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Nicholson in 2017; and five siblings, Gladys, Jay, Audrey, Virginia and Noralie.
Services and interment will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Chambersburg, PA.
