Obituary for Freda M. Schneider (Bean)
Freda M. (Bean) Schneider, 83, of Chambersburg, PA and formerly of Bowie, MD passed away Monday, December 26, 2022 in Brookview Menno Haven. Born July 13, 1939 in Washington, D.C. she was the daughter of the late Carl and Freda Bean.
She was a graduate of the University of Maryland. Freda was employed at a doctor’s office as an office manager for a number of years. She was a member of St. Ignatius of Loyola Church where she was a founding member of the Catholic Christian Woman’s Group. Freda enjoyed quilting and weaving.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years H Lawrence Schneider who she married August 12, 1961; two children, Henry L. Schneider, Jr. and his wife Patricia of Bowie, MD and Katrina M. Fogleman and her husband Jay of Carolina, RI; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 10, 2023, in St. Ignatius of Loyola Church, 1095 Church Road, Orrtanna, PA 17353 with Rev Dominic M. DiBiccaro as celebrant. Rite of Committal and Interment will immediately follow in the church cemetery. A reception will follow.
