Obituary for Eleanor I Ludvico
Eleanor I. Ludvico, age 97, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021, at Paramount Senior Living. Born September 19, 1923, in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Vito and Mary Manco Santagata.
Mrs. Ludvico worked as an Office Administrator at Johnsville Naval Air Development Center in Warminster, PA for a number of years, where she later retired. She was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Chambersburg. Mrs. Ludvico enjoyed travelling, her senior center activities, cross word puzzles, Broadway Musicals, going to the beach, and Spaghetti Sunday’s.
She is survived by her daughter, Loretta Ford (spouse Carl) of Chambersburg, PA, a grandson, Christopher Bloomford (spouse Michael) of Chambersburg, PA, sisters, Louise Giunta of West Chester, PA, and Dolores Lawrence of McKinney, TX, sisters–in-law, Phyllis Santo and Judith Ludovico, Aunt, Mary D’onofrio, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rocco D. Ludvico on January 29, 1999 and siblings, Marian Delagol and Gerald Santo.
Services and internment will be private. Arrangements are entrusted to the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N.
