Obituary for Edna M. Carbaugh
Edna M. (Spoonhour) Carbaugh, 83, of Chambersburg, PA passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022 in the Chambersburg Hospital. Born November 4, 1938 in Chambersburg she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Helen (Eshelman) Spoonhour.
She attended Chambersburg area schools. Edna was a homemaker who enjoyed going camping at Raystown and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Martin Carbaugh who she married December 27, 1958; two daughters, Mary Carbaugh of Chambersburg and Ann Borg and her husband George; two grandchildren, Codi Horst and his wife Sara of Shippensburg, PA and Autumn Stine and her fiancé Dustin Barkley of Chambersburg; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Sanders of Chambersburg. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a daughter, Cathi Horst who passed away November 22, 2019.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family. However the family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM, Sunday, February 20, 2022 in the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202.
