Obituary for Eddie Lee Shaw
Eddie Lee Shaw, 54, of Chambersburg, passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022. Born February 17, 1968 in Winter Haven, FL, he was a son of Freddie Mae Shaw and the late Edward Shaw.
Eddie was a 1986 graduate of CASHS. He earned a culinary arts degree from HACC and was previously employed at Flextronics and Nursery Supplies, Inc., both in Chambersburg. Most recently he was employed at Procter & Gamble in Shippensburg. Eddie was very good at break dancing and roller skating. He liked to dress fashionably. He was a fun loving person, loved to be with his family and always had a smile on his face.
In addition to his mother, Eddie is survived by his daughter, La’Keisha McCleary (mother Crystal McCleary) of Chambersburg; six siblings, Delois Jackson of Moultrie, GA, Isaiah Shaw (Shirley) of Chambersburg, Ruby Murray (Kenny) of Chambersburg, Linda Powell (Rev. Heuwlett) of Donaldsville, GA, Andrea Shaw (Earl) of Chambersburg, and Anna Shaw (Charles) of Baltimore, MD; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Aside from his father, Eddie was preceded in death by four siblings, Willie Shaw, Annie Shaw, Ethel Shaw Pinnock, and Mary Shaw Norah.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, March 11, 2022 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA 17202. Rev. Dr. Lois Waters will officiate. Interment will follow in Lebanon Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
