Obituary for Donna May Mort
Donna May Sheffield Mort, age 86, of Ft. Loudon, PA passed away at the Chambersburg Hospital on Friday April 12, 2019. Born May 9, 1932 in McConnellsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Mabel Snyder Sheffield.
Donna was a homemaker throughout her adult life. She enjoyed cooking, baking, especially cakes, basket making, gardening, and collecting owls.
She is survived by two sons, Gerald S. Mort (Cindy) of Chambersburg and Mallory M. Mort (Karen) of Ghent, NY; a daughter, Kati A. Krebs of Fayetteville; four grandsons, Robert (Lisa), Emory, Austin and Tyler Mort; two great-grandchildren, Emily and Aaron Mort; a brother, Clair; friend and loving caregiver, Kathy Johnson and her sweet faithful dog Cody. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph F. “Fred” Mort in 2016 and a son-in-law, Tim Krebs in 2019.
