David Ray Suders, Sr., 81, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away Monday morning, April 10, 2023 at Laurel Lakes Wellness and Rehabilitation Center. Born December 13, 1941 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Paul and Helen Monn Suders. David was a 1959 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School and attended Hagerstown Business College. He was employed for 30 years at the former J. Schoeneman Company in Chambersburg and then worked as a security guard with US Security and Schaad Detective Agency. David attended Christian Life Church. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his hobbies included fishing, hunting, and bowling.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene K. Derr Suders, whom he married June 10, 1962; two sons, David Suders, Jr. of Edgewood, MD and Ronnie Suders and wife Amy of Hagerstown, MD; a grandson, Adam; and two great-grandchildren, Hunter and Lily. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Paul Suders; and four sisters, Helen Wagner, Shirley Williams, Betty Beck, and Nancy Pefley.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 21, 2023 at Christian Life Church, 1400 Warm Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA.
