Obituary for Christina T. Taylor
Christina T. Taylor, age 71, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away on Friday, April 23, 2021, at Manor Care Nursing Home. Born December 9, 1949, in Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late William T. and Eleanor Weinkauf Taylor.
A U.S. Army veteran, she served honorably in Vietnam during the Conflict. Ms. Taylor worked at the former J.P. Morgan Chase Company and later First Data for over 33 years, retiring in 2018. She was a member of St. John’s U.C.C. in Chambersburg, where she enjoyed singing in the church choir, Amistad, and was a member of the Praise Team. She was also a member of Freedom Valley Chorus Chapter of The Sweet Adelines. In her spare time she enjoyed volunteering at ReStore in Chambersburg.
Surviving are three sons, James Thomas Taylor, Dennis Tracy Taylor, and David Tindell Taylor and three siblings, Robert Taylor (wife Juanita) of NY, Lynn Taylor (wife Kate Russell) of SC, and Susan Taylor of NY.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 30, 2021, at 10 AM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA, where Pastor Caroline E. Saxton will officiate. The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 29, 2021, from 6 – 8 PM and one hour prior to the service in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. John’s U.C.C., 1811 LWE, Chambersburg, PA 17202.
