Mary Frances and Family,
Carl was one of the best people I have ever known. He was so kind and generous and a true example of the kind of person we should all strive to be. Carl always seemed genuinely pleased to meet everyone. He impressed me with his willingness to give so much of his time to the church and community, and at the same time, be so humble. I know that these last years have been more than difficult for both of you. It is more than anyone should have to bear. We have always had him on our prayer list at Pine Grove. We all thought so highly of him. He was a great man, who will never be forgotten.

Mary Francis and Family,
Carl was a great citizen of the community and a faithful planning commission member. I fondly recall you both hosting the planning commission's summer picnic at your Shade Valley home.
