Brenda Kay Smith, 65, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away Friday morning, April 30, 2021 at her home. Born February 3, 1956 in Waynesboro, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Charlotte Monighan Caldwell. Brenda was a graduate of the Waynesboro High School and served honorably in the United States Marine Corps. She had been employed for many years at Festival Foods in Gettysburg and later retired from Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, Driver Licensing Center in Chambersburg. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, and crocheting. Her husband, Vaughn E. Smith, preceded her in death on March 4, 2018.

She is survived by two sons, Jeremy (wife Jami) and Josh (wife Kelly); seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Her brother, Robert E. Caldwell, preceded her in death.

Services and interment will be private.
