Obituary for Beverly McClure (McClure)
Beverly McClure, 63, of Chambersburg, passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022, at her home. Born May 22, 1959 in Chambersburg, she was the daughter of Betty J. Helman McClure and the late Thomas R. McClure.
Beverly was a 1977 graduate of CASHS. She was employed as distribution manager with the Franklin Shopper until her retirement. She was a member of the American Legion Post 46 and the Knights of Columbus #1426, both in Chambersburg. Beverly was an avid Penn State football fan and loved spending time with her friends and family.
In addition to her mother, Beverly is survived by two children, Jamie Martin (husband Russell) of Chambersburg, and Billy Higgins (Becca Pierce) of Quincy; three grandchildren, Kara and Hailey Martin and Aidan Higgins; and two siblings, Ron McClure (wife Maria) of Gaithersburg, MD, and Kevin McClure (wife Bonnie) of Chambersburg. She was preceded in death by her long-time companion, James C. “Jim” Bracken.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Chambersburg, PA.
