Obituary for Barbara A. Taylor (Raifsnider)
Barbara A. Taylor, 83, of Chambersburg, PA, passed away unexpectedly on Friday evening, January 20, 2023 at her home. Born September 18, 1939 in Chambersburg, she was a daughter of the late Robert C. and Madeline Shatzer Raifsnider. She was a 1957 graduate of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School and was employed early in her life at JC Penney in Chambersburg. She retired in 1995 from Letterkenny Army Depot. Barbara was a member of Central Presbyterian Church and volunteered at Chambersburg Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, Robert W. Taylor, whom she married August 22, 1998; two sons, Bill K. Williams, Jr, and wife Dixie of Chambersburg and Brian K. Williams and wife Kay of Greencaslte; her granddaughter Billie Jo; and her great-grandchildren Landon and Jocelyn, all of Chambersburg. She is also survived by her step-son, Kevin Taylor and wife Carrie of Silver Spring, MD; her step-granddaughter Madi of Silver Spring, MD; her brother Robert Raifsnider and wife Shirley of Fayetteville; and her sister Bonnie Ramer and husband Marlin of Chambersburg.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Lincoln Cemetery. Rev. Dr. A. Robert Cook will officiate.
