Obituary for Audrey M. Rosenberger
Audrey M. Rosenberger, 65, of Chambersburg, PA passed away Sunday, March 7, 2021 in Menno Haven Rehabilitation Center. Born November 20, 1955 in Chambersburg she was the daughter of the late William J. and Dorothy (Long) Rosenberger.
She was a graduate of James Buchanan High School with the Class of 1973. She later went on to obtain her licensed practical nursing degree from the Franklin County Votech. Audrey was employed at the Franklin County Nursing Home for 18 years until her retirement.
Audrey most recently attended church at Antrim Brethren in Christ Church. She previously attended the Open Door Church and Spring Run Bible Church. She was very crafty and enjoyed knitting and crocheting as well as spending time outdoors.
She is survived by her sister, Susan Rosenberger of Chambersburg and a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a brother, William Rosenberger who passed away March 9, 2016.
Services will be held 1:30 P.M., Friday, March 12, 2021 in the Chapel of the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA with Pastor Casey Hurst officiating. Burial will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens, Chambersburg, PA.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service Friday afternoon in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to either the American Kidney Foundation at kidneyfund.org or to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org.
