Anthony “Tony” D. Imperato, 38, of Shippensburg, PA, passed away unexpectedly Monday morning, February 17, 2020 at his home. Born December 8, 1981 in Waynesboro, he was a son of Frank J. and Brenda Rupard Imperato of Shippensburg. A graduate of Waynesboro Area High School, he went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree from Shippensburg University and a Master’s Degree in Marketing from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. He was employed in management with Giant Foods. He was a member of the LCBC Church in Waynesboro. He enjoyed playing basketball with his son; golfing with his friends; spending time with his family; and traveling.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Kathryn Imperato, whom he married August 11, 2018; his son, Kaleb; his brother, Matthew; his brother-in-law, Nick; and his nieces, Winter and Norah.

Friends and family are invited to attend a public viewing from 10:30 AM until 11:45 AM Saturday, February 22, 2020 in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. A brief service will be held at 11:45 AM with Pastor Andy Ficks officiating.
