Obituary for Anna Hartman (Emory)
Anna Emory Hartman, 53, of Chambersburg, passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 at her home. Born August 9, 1965 in Waynesboro, she was a daughter of Nancy Truax Emory of Chambersburg and the late John Emory.
Anna was a 1983 graduate of CASHS. She was employed as a receptionist at Chambersburg Chiropractic for over 15 years. Anna had a heart of gold. She had a wonderful personality and liked everyone she met. She loved everything Elvis and enjoyed watching birds and gardening.
In addition to her mother, Anna is survived by her daughter, Amanda Hartman of Chambersburg; four siblings, Angela Rife (Bruce), Anita Strubel, Michael “Mike” Emory (Christina) and Randall “Rick” Emory, all of Chambersburg; and her close friends, Bonnie Stoner of Chambersburg and Rachelle Hudak of Pittsburgh.
A viewing will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Monday, July 15, 2019 at the Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 333 Falling Spring Road, Chambersburg, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Anna’s daughter Amanda to assist with expenses.
